Story Beats.

When I originally started trying to come up with 'Feral' our tutors advised us to create 'story beats'. These are essentially visual notes, picking out the key moments of the story that you want to create. Every beat you create slowly blocks in your story till you have a short storyboard. The Aim here wasn't to have every detail or character model locked, it didn't matter if it was messy, it was about getting something down on paper. What's more interesting is how much the film changed and developed over time, in the end we had cut things and refine the story a lot but it all worked out overall.
